New sonnenmulde.at Website

Almost exactly to the 20th anniversary of www.sonnenmulde.at it is time for a new website. At the front it works better on mobile devices and it is structured more clearly. Special attention has also been paid to accessibility. In the background, we’re using completely new technology, but of course you’re not supposed to see that.

All current data are already complete, all wine facts, dates and all the news are available. But it will still take some time until we have transferred our entire wine and news archive, because after all, these go back twenty years. We want to keep this rich treasure of information available online in the future and will complete it piece by piece.

In addition to the website, we are even more active in social networks than before. Apart from the well known data leeches we are now also represented in the Fediverse. You can simply follow us at fed.sonnenmulde.at/profile/sunnywines without having to worry about your personal data.

Technology

For those interested, a few words about the technology of the new website.

Just like 20 years ago, we are using static HTML again today. However, the pages are now generated very differently by using hugo as a static website generator. Javascript is only used for some fine tuning and accessibility. But the site is also usable without Javascript practically without restrictions.

Under fed.sonnenmulde.at we operate our own Friendica instance from which the news overview and the event dates are automatically extracted. Join the Fediverse!

Our website does not require third party resources and no user data is stored. Cookie banners no thank you! Our privacy page is accordingly refreshing to read!
